Joyce E. Carter In the Presence of Angels 12/24/07

Emy Shepherd was recommended to me by a computer company that couldn’t complete the job of creating a website for me. I was told that she would do a good job for a fair price and in a timely fashion. That was exactly what she did.

Emy first set up a conference in my home to determine my needs. She told me at that time what she charged for the initial meeting and what she charged per hour for the actual work of setting it up. She gave me an estimate of the time it would take, and she did exactly what she said she would do.

Through email correspondence and one afternoon in her home, we were able to finish the website in one month’s time.

Emy went out of her way to help with suggestions, and she was clear with quick and easy explanations when I requested something that couldn’t be done. She also taught me some computer functions as we worked together.

The website is for a book I have written. The work she did required scanning and placing photographs strategically within the text. The set up is simple, concise, artistically pleasing, and strategically accurate. Most of all, the material is very easy to read and moving through the links on the site is quick uncomplicated.

I am very pleased with the website and with Emy Shepherd as the Webmaster. She does what she says she will do, and she does it well. I will continue to work with her as my writing expands.

Didn't stop and chat after the class Tuesday, but wanted to make a special effort to say Thanks and Nice Job to you. Your pressentation was exactly "as advertised"...clear, easy to understand, not condescending, relevant, and very helpful. I knew a lot of the stuff, but didn't know a fair amount. Very Helpful!!! Thank you.

Isn't it beautiful! Your expertise is so greatly appreciated. I'm so pleased with the final result!!!! The booklet went over very well at the Celebration. Everyone who knew I had compiled the booklet exclaimed at its contents AND its appearance. It was appreciated by all, it seemed. A million thanks again for the excellent job.

Class evaluation from Joy Hibsher joyhibsher@comcast.net 10/13/05

Emy went above & beyond - even copied material, related to Windows XP, for me personally.

First computer course I've benefitted from as the instructor used normal language to explain, rather than "techie talk."

Good day, Thanks so much for spending some time with me earlier this week. As always it was time well invested with a lady whose enthusiasm and expertise are much appreciated and valued.
Thanks, again. Ed Walsh

Hi Emy:
I would like to thank you for making our class a very enjoyable and fun experience. My only complaint is that it was too short. I could have stayed another couple of hours. O well. I thought your presentation was very understandable and you addressed each question in a very concise manner. It was great. Thank you. Anyway, have a great holiday and I look forward to more sessions with you.
Bert
